Korea Christian gospel Mission

KCGM Website - http://www.kcgm.org/index.html

The purpose of Korea Christian Gospel Mission is to communicate the gospel of Jesus Christ and practice His love in all the world by ministering to and through the Korean people, while adhering to the principles of the New Testament and the Restoration Movement.

Children's home

  • From some homeless children taken in by Geon Chae (Bro. Chae's first wife) as they began their ministry in the slums of Seoul in 1963, this home has grown until it cares for 80 children and teenagers who have need of their service. Many of the children raised here have taken valuable places in Christian service, becoming ministers, missionaries, elders, teachers, social workers and such, but all have been thoroughly exposed to the Love that Bro. Chae and his co-workers give them. Bro. Chae's wife, Kook-Ja Chae is the official representative of the Home to the government, from which they receive some help, along with the donations of interested people.

Since 1946, CIBC has been a haven for youth and adults alike to seek a closer relationship with Christ. cookson hills

Cookson Hills Website - https://cooksonhills.org/

Families turn to Cookson Hills for help.

Raising children is challenging, and it’s even more difficult when you don’t have the resources you need. Since 1957, we’ve been partnering with families to give kids love, education, and healing in a beautiful setting. Each member of our team works to give children the best chance to live a mature life. It’s not guaranteed, but we exhaust every option to give them the best opportunity possible.

HISTORY

In 1957 we opened our doors and hearts to kids in need of stability and love. What began as a single home and a staff of four, is now a beautiful estate with nine homes, a staff of 65, an ACSI accredited private Christian school, rec center, grocery store, and horse stables. Over the years, our responsibilities have grown, but the mission remains the same.

CEM - Christian Evangelistic Mission

CEM Website - https://www.cemchurches.com/

At CEM, we passionately desire everyone to have the freedom to connect with God through His Son, Jesus Christ. The way we accomplish this is by starting new independent Christian churches founded in the Restoration Movement. We want people to understand God’s great love for them, and consequently find freedom in Christ. Since 1957, CEM has a proven track record of starting new independent Christian churches. Our board of directors is completely voluntary so that all monetary gifts given to CEM go toward the church planting process. The executive director, Dave Fremstad, spends much of his time traveling throughout the state seeking church planting opportunities by making new relationships and building existing ones. He is also available to churches for encouragement and leadership training. He also encourages and follows up with our new church planters and invests in recruiting potential planters. Our church planters’ salaries are paid by CEM for at least two years. This period gives the internal structure of the new church time to prepare to take over this responsibility.

Shiloh Childrens Ranch

Shiloh Website - http://www.shilohranch.org/

Shiloh Christian Children’s Ranch opened in 1977 as a result of the vision and efforts of Mr. Don McCain and Mr. Stan Way.  The two men met during a period in which Mr. Way was a minister in the Clarence, MO area.

One day the two men discussed the possibility starting a set of Christian children’s homes in northeast Missouri. The men believed adequate financial support could be obtained from area churches to eventually build as many as three homes near Clarence. Several other individuals in the area, who eventually became Shiloh board of trustee members, “caught” McCain’s and Way’s vision to carry out the project.

Land for the Clarence, MO site was provided by the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brown. By 1983, there were three homes on the original nine acres ministering to children in need. Today there are four full-time homes and a relief home at Shiloh’s Clarence, MO site.

Kahoka, Missouri is approximately 75 miles northeast of Shiloh’s Clarence, MO site. There are two full-time homes and a relief home at Shiloh’s Kahoka, MO site. An onsite Christian school was added for the Kahoka site children in 1997.
