CCF - November Update

"Be joyful always: pray continually: give thanks in all circumstances. for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus
I Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NIV).

"Be joyful always": The other day I was asked to give a message on happiness at one of our partner churches. So often our world relates our happiness or joy to the circumstances that surround us -a pay raise; an election: how our favorite team is performing the weather…

While circumstances do indeed cause momentary mood changes, real joy comes from that which is lasting A relationship with our heavenly father and with fellow followers of Christ are among the things we can rely on to be a consistent source of joy.

"Pray Continually": A big emphasis this year at CCF has been prayer. Small groups are centered around this and prayer walks on campus are a regular feature. Please join us as we pray for new students to be involved, for baptisms, and for open doors to put a good word for Christ,

"Give thanks in all circumstances': This year has had its difficulties. Ministering on campus is different. With these difficulties and differences, we are grateful for God's reminder to still give Him thanks. This semester we still have new students involved. Discipleship is still happening. Decisions are still being made. God truly is bigger than any obstacle that is out there.

We also pray for you as you too face some of the same hurdles that life brings
