“oasis” Student conference 2024
Madison Church is organizing a Center Youth Group trip to an event at Manhattan Christian College for Jr. & Sr. high students called “Getaway.” on November 1-2.
This is an overnight conference for students centered around worship and the Bible. We’ll take two vehicles down (a 15-passenger van, and a van for luggage if necessary) and sleep overnight in a Church near the conference (on the floor, pews, chairs, or whatever else we can find!).
In order for a student to attend a parent must:
Fill out the short form below to reserve a spot (registration closes after the first 16 students)
Fill out the electronic registration form that will be emailed to them after they complete the form
Print and fill out the Madison Church release form attached below and pay $120 to “Madison Church of Christ” before we leave (these can be turned in when we depart on Friday)
Details
The cost to attend is $120 - (covers event registration, transportation, bag lunch Friday, breakfast and lunch on Saturday)
We’ll depart from the school parking lot (gravel) at 9:00 AM Friday(the 1st).
We’ll return to the school parking lot at approximately 11:30 PM Saturday (the 2nd).
Students will be responsible for purchasing two meals on the trip (supper on the 1st and 2nd).
We’ll have multiple fast-food options each time we stop.
Students should pack light - showers will not be available where we stay.
Joel Nielsen and Brianna Erickson will be the sponsors for the trip.
