“Christmas: Out For Delivery”

Christmas isn’t the arrival of the fulfillment of the celebrated promises from that story (peace, joy, justice). It’s the arrival of the certainty that those promises will be fulfilled because the world got to see the means/instrument by which God will accomplish them - a baby boy named Jesus! So - while we live in a world where those promises are not fulfilled yet - they are as certainly on their way as the Christmas gift you’ve ordered, marked as “Out for Delivery.”
